Website Terms of Use

The simple ground rules for using the Trades Emigration Australia website.

Last updated: 18 October 2026

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of the Trades Emigration Australia website (the “Site”), operated by Trades Emigration Australia (“TEA”, “we”, “us”). By using the Site you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

These terms cover use of the website only. Any paid service requires a separately agreed scope, price and service terms before purchase. Nothing on this page confirms that a Client Services Agreement has already been provided or accepted.

2. General information, not advice

The content on this Site is general information for UK tradespeople considering a move to Australia. It is not migration advice, legal advice, financial advice or a recommendation about your personal circumstances.

Rules about skills assessments, licensing, sponsorship and visas change frequently. Always check current requirements with the relevant official body before making decisions.

3. Our content and intellectual property

All content on the Site — including text, guides, videos, graphics, logos and branding — is owned by or licensed to TEA and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. You must not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, sell or create derivative works from any part of the Site without our prior written permission.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Site: no attempting to gain unauthorised access, no scraping or automated data collection, no uploading malicious code, and no using the Site in any way that is unlawful or that could damage the Site or other users.

Any information you submit to us (for example through forms or the client portal) must be accurate and must not infringe anyone else’s rights.

5. No guarantees

We work hard to keep the Site accurate and up to date, but we make no promises that content is complete, current or error-free, or that the Site will always be available.

Nothing on the Site guarantees a skills assessment outcome, a visa outcome, employment, sponsorship or any particular result from using our services.

6. Third-party links and services

The Site may link to third-party websites and services (for example booking calendars, job boards or currency tools). We are not responsible for their content, accuracy or practices, and a link does not mean we endorse them.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including your statutory consumer rights.

8. Privacy

How we collect and use your personal information is set out in our Privacy Notice, which forms part of these terms.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page applies from its “last updated” date. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
